Westerra Credit Union Celebrates 90 Years of Serving Members and the Community
This month, Westerra Credit Union celebrates its 90th anniversary as a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution that was founded by eight teachers with a mission to support their fellow educators. As part of this milestone, Westerra will be reflecting on its rich history through various celebrations throughout the year, including the recent partnership with the Colorado Rockies for Teacher Appreciation Week to recognize the contributions of educators in the Denver metro area.
Since 1934, Westerra has been committed to helping all members prosper. It continues to uphold these founding principles while meeting the evolving needs of its diverse membership base. This is evident through the unveiling of various new technologies, products and locations this year:

While this digital connectivity increases convenience, Westerra recognizes having a dynamic, physical card in wallets to use during transactions is also important! With this in mind, Westerra is in the middle of rolling out an updated, vertical design for all of its debit and credit cards.
In August 2024, Westerra will open a new banking center in Littleton, Colorado, to provide exceptional service and modern, convenient financial solutions, and cultivate meaningful connections between staff and members in the southern suburbs.
