Westerra’s “Swim or Swim” Video Receives Prestigious “Diamond Award” In Recognition of its Creative Excellence
Westerra Credit Union’s “Swim or Swim” video has received the “Diamond Award” in the America’s Credit Unions’ prestigious credit union marketing competition. It also earned the Category’s Best award in the “Video Non-Commercial – Single” category. Signified by a diamond next to the entry’s name, this means the video achieved the highest score within the credit union’s asset level grouping.
“Swim or Swim” features the story of Cynnomon Gordon, Westerra’s Director of Fraud & Card Dispute Operations, as she discusses how hard work and perseverance combine to produce her unflappable and positive attitude. This serves her well as she helps protect Westerra members from fraud and supports their financial journeys. These characteristics also make her a pretty good at her after-work persona: pool shark. America’s Credit Union’s Marketing & Business Development Council collects and judges entries across dozens of categories in this annual competition. A record 1,451 submissions were submitted for this award with more than 170 credit unions recognized for their achievements, creative excellence and outstanding results in the industry.
