Three Credit Unions Announce New Hires; Greylock FCU Celebrates 2025 Summer Interns

A few credit unions, including United Federal Credit Union and Tucoemas Federal Credit Union have announced new additions to their teams, and Greylock Federal Credit Union celebrated the completion of its 2025 Summer Internship Program.

New Hires:

  • United Federal Credit Union (United) continues its focus on expanding its commercial lending footprint and has added Johnathan Wingfield as its new Director of Commercial Lending Sales. Wingfield will be based in South Bend, Indiana and will lead United’s team of Business Loan Officers and Commercial Loan Officers throughout the country.
  • Ncontracts announced the appointment of Clay Carter as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). The addition of Carter to the executive team strengthens Ncontracts’ security posture as the company continues to grow and demonstrates its commitment to ensuring responsible AI governance across its expanding suite of intelligent compliance solutions.
  • Tucoemas Federal Credit Union proudly welcomes Jose Gonzalez as its new Vice President of Operations. In this role, Gonzalez will oversee all member-facing functions, including the retail branch network, contact center, BSA/AML, compliance, vendor management, and other essential support services. With more than 20 years of leadership in financial services, he brings deep expertise, a passion for community connection, and a strong member-first mindset to Tucoemas.
  • Bay Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the appointment of Amanda Gamban as its new Community Engagement Manager. With more than eight years of experience in the social impact sector, Ms. Gamban brings expertise in program design, marketing, communications, fundraising, event management, and community-based organizing to her new role.

Recognitions:

  • In August, Greylock Federal Credit Union celebrated the completion of its 2025 Summer Internship Program which included a cohort of interns representing five of the credit union’s departments. A send-off luncheon was held for the interns on Friday, Aug. 8 at The Proprietor’s Lodge in Pittsfield. This year’s group included Matteo Chang, Human Resources; Connor Lavinio, Finance; Sara Stevens, Marketing; Sydney Wilk, Training and Development; and Elissa Wong, Branch Training and Development.
  • Corporate Central proudly celebrates the achievement of Orianna Valentine, CCUFC, CDMP, aPCM®, Marketing Strategist, who has earned the Certified Credit Union Manager (CCM) designation after completing the nationally recognized CUES Emerge program.
  • APG Federal Credit Union (APGFCU) is proud to announce that Amber Askew, Chief Financial Officer, has been named a 2025 Baltimore Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree. This prestigious recognition celebrates 40 young professionals under the age of 40 who are making significant contributions to their industries and communities across the Greater Baltimore area.

Promotions:

  • Luminate is thrilled to announce that Nanci Wilson, a 16-year veteran of the credit union movement, has been promoted from Vice President of Member Solutions to Executive Vice President.
  • Luminate proudly announces the promotion of Jennifer Plaisance to Executive Vice President of Finance. With 21 years of dedicated service to the organization, Plaisance brings a wealth of experience and deep institutional knowledge to her new leadership role.

Appointments:

  • TDECU is proud to announce the appointment of five distinguished advisory board members. Their expertise and insight will strengthen the organization’s commitment to its purpose of Members helping Members and communities prosper. 
    • Rushi Patel is the co-founder of a longstanding and successful real estate development firm, Omkar Enterprises, LLC, bringing over two decades of entrepreneurial leadership to the table. He played a pivotal role in envisioning, planning, and executing several noteworthy projects, contributing to the growth and revitalization of surrounding communities.
    • Rodrigo (Rod) Tejeda joins the TDECU Board after the credit union’s recent merger with Space City Credit Union. Tejeda is a dynamic executive and entrepreneur based in Houston, Texas, with over 15 years of experience leading companies across the energy, manufacturing, and environmental sectors. A seasoned CEO, he specializes in operational turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions, and value-driven growth strategies. He has successfully acquired, scaled, and divested companies, including Atlantic Product Services and L-K Industries.
    • Stephen J. Quezada is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Quezada also joins TDECU’s Board following its merger with Space City Credit Union. He serves as a shareholder at Ogletree Deakins, one of the nation’s largest labor and employment law firms. In this role, Quezada focuses primarily on representing public and private employers before federal and state courts and administrative agencies that enforce a variety of labor and employment laws. He has tried and arbitrated matters to jury verdict and award involving claims of unpaid overtime, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Quezada also represents clients in traditional labor matters, including labor grievances and arbitrations, and union organizing campaigns.
    • Scott Campbell is a marketing, brand management, and communications leader with over 25 years of experience. As Chief Client Experience Officer, Campbell leads American National Insurance’s client experience team, which includes UX and UI, client insights, client service center operations and the company’s strategic innovation efforts. He also oversees the company’s corporate communications, PR, and brand programs.
    • Sandra Pineau-Boddison is a leader with extensive experience in multiple executive roles, most recently as Senior Vice President of Customers at United Airlines, where she was responsible for the overall passenger journey, building strong loyalty while differentiating the experience. She oversaw the customer experience, onboard service, lounge and customer contact center divisions with about 8,000 employees.
  • TBA Credit Union has announced the appointment of Maxwell Janis to its Board of Directors. A Traverse City native, Janis holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Alma College and brings extensive experience in financial advising and entrepreneurship.
