Three Credit Unions Announce New Hires; HRCU President & CEO Inducted Into 2025 Make-A-Wish New Hampshire Legends Through Time Hall of Fame

Three credit unions, including Lake Trust Credit Union and Tinker Federal Credit Union, announced new additions to their teams, and the CEO of Holy Rosary Credit Union was inducted into the 2025 Make-A-Wish New Hampshire Legends Through Time Hall of Fame.

New Hires:

  • NCR Atleos Corporation (NYSE: NATL) (“Atleos”) announced the appointment of Rohan Pal as Chief Information Officer (CIO), reinforcing the company’s commitment to innovation, operational excellence and growth. Pal brings more than 25 years of experience leading technology strategy and digital transformation for global organizations. His expertise spans IT modernization, cybersecurity, cloud solutions and digital product development—critical areas as Atleos continues to focus on achieving its strategic goals, including service, automation and growth.
  • The League of Credit Unions is pleased to welcome Jasmine Smith to the team as Senior Director of Advocacy Engagement, bringing more than seven years of experience in advocacy, nonprofit development, and relationship building to the organization.
  • The RCU Foundation (Foundation) has named Jennifer McHugh Executive Director. In her new role, McHugh will serve as the Foundation’s chief executive, responsible for strategy, grantmaking, programming, governance, and operations. She reports to the RCU Foundation Board of Directors and will serve as the Board’s primary liaison. 
  • Lake Trust Credit Union (Lake Trust) has announced the addition of Renee Bush as a Commercial Solutions Officer. Reporting directly to Ken Michalak, AVP, Commercial Lending Manager at Lake Trust, Bush will develop and manage business relationships in the Lansing market and across the state, delivering a full range of lending, deposit and treasury solutions.
  • Consumers Credit Union is pleased to welcome Lisa Carriveau as the new business services sales manager. With nearly 28 years of experience as a commercial credit analyst and loan officer, Carriveau brings extensive knowledge in risk management, commercial lending and relationship development. She will lead the commercial lending team in delivering tailored financial solutions to business members. 
  • Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) has welcomed Ryan Marlen as senior vice president of digital strategy, a new leadership role focused on advancing the credit union’s digital channels and member experience. In this position, Marlen will guide TFCU’s digital services and ensure members can manage their finances easily and securely across all platforms.
  • World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) has hired Liz Stanislawski as its new Director of Communications, bringing on a seasoned journalism and strategic communications leader to advance the organization’s global advocacy, member engagement and digital presence. Stanislawski joins WOCCU with more than 15 years of experience across journalism, nonprofit, government, higher education and healthcare sectors. In her new role, she will lead WOCCU’s corporate communications strategy, oversee global digital content and media relations, manage brand identity, and serve as a public-facing representative of the organization. 

Recognitions:

  • Holy Rosary Credit Union (HRCU) announces that President and CEO Brian Hughes has been inducted into the 2025 Make-A-Wish New Hampshire Legends Through Time Hall of Fame. The recognition honors his exemplary years of service and leadership in the ongoing partnership among HRCU, New Hampshire credit unions and Make-A-Wish New Hampshire. The award was presented by Julie Baron, CEO of Make-A-Wish New Hampshire, at the annual Make-A-Wish Holiday Auction, a signature fundraising event co-hosted by New Hampshire credit unions.
  • The Virginia Credit Union Association, a subsidiary of The League of Credit Unions, recognized Lindsey Kelly, Vice President of Legal and Compliance of Langley Federal Credit Union, as the 2025 Advocate of the Year during the Virginia Advocacy Summit, honoring her outstanding leadership and commitment to advancing the credit union movement.
  • Corporate Central is proud to recognize Will Valadez for earning the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification, a prestigious credential administered by the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) that signifies advanced expertise in strategic and policy-focused human resources leadership.

Promotions:

  • People’s Credit Union has announced the promotion of Jennifer McFarland to Head of Newport Member Operations, reporting to Heather Sweeney, Head of the Newport Branch. In her new role, Ms. McFarland will provide hands-on leadership for the branch’s daily operations, mentoring her team while delivering personalized, relationship-driven service to members.
  • Consumers Credit Union is proud to announce a series of key promotions as the organization continues to invest in talent development and exceptional member service heading into 2026.
    • Emily Taylor, who joined Consumers in spring of 2021, has been promoted to collections manager. Taylor brings a strong foundation in member support, financial problem-solving and team collaboration, along with a bachelor’s degree in business management from Davenport University. Her academic background and on-the-job experience have shaped her people-first approach to collections, ensuring members receive compassionate, solutions-driven guidance during times of financial difficulty.
    • Since joining Consumers, Nikki Hunt-Smith has consistently elevated the credit union’s community presence through impactful events and sponsorship initiatives. In her new role as events and sponsorships manager, Hunt-Smith will lead organizational event strategy, community partnerships and brand activation efforts. 
    • Starting with Consumers in fall of 2019, Lucas Robinson has become a key leader in technology service and support. As the new technology support manager, Robinson will guide the team responsible for supporting employees with the tools and technology needed to serve members effectively.
    • Omar Khayyam, who has been with Consumers for over six years, has been promoted to mortgage sales manager. With deep experience in the mortgage process and a strong commitment to member education, Khayyam will lead part of the mortgage sales team in expanding homeownership opportunities across our footprint. 
    • Joining Consumers in 2017, Josh Pompey has excelled as a leader in the Lansing market. Now promoted to vice president of the retail market in Lansing, Pompey will continue driving strategic growth, operational performance and an outstanding member experience in the region.
    • With a bachelor’s in communication management from Western Michigan University, Jennifer Knuth began her career with Consumers over 13 years ago as a teller and later transitioned to the role of staff accountant/fraud coordinator. Knuth has now been promoted to fraud manager. In this role, she will lead the development of fraud mitigation strategies and oversee member education initiatives aimed at safeguarding financial security. 
    • Shawn Detamore has been promoted to vice president of the South Central retail market, where she will oversee branch operations, market growth and team leadership across the region. Detamore holds degrees in finance, accounting and forensic accounting from Davenport University. She began her career at Consumers in 2011 as an onsite business developer, driven by a passion for helping members and supporting the growth and development of team members. Her dedication to member service and leadership led her into the retail banking world, where she has since held several roles, including office manager and regional manager.
