Three Credit Unions Announce Promotions; TFCU President and CEO Selected for AZ Business Leaders 2027

Three credit unions, including LAFCU and Tinker Federal Credit Union, announced promotions within their organizations, and the President and CEO of Tucson Federal Credit Union was selected for the 2027 edition of AZ Business Leaders.

New Hires:

  • Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) has named Carlos Leiva vice president and manager of real estate sales. He leads TFCU’s real estate lending team who focus on helping members through the homebuying process. Leiva brings nearly three decades of mortgage and lending experience to TFCU. He began his career in 1996 as a loan officer in Chicago, later moving to Texas to serve as a lending manager with a major U.S. bank. Most recently, he worked as a mortgage production manager before relocating to Oklahoma City.
  • Kitsap Credit Union announced the appointment of Shawn Walker as Vice President of Product Strategy. Walker began his role in January 2026 leading the strategic direction, development, and growth of Kitsap Credit Union’s product portfolio across digital and traditional credit union offerings. His responsibilities include overseeing the product management team, guiding product innovation, and ensuring that Kitsap Credit Union delivers competitive, member-centered solutions aligned with its mission and values.

Recognitions:

  • Tucson Federal Credit Union (TFCU) announced that President and CEO Matthew Gaspari, MBA, was selected for the 2027 edition of AZ Business Leaders, published each year AZ Big Media and reaching 25,000 Arizona executives, C-suite decision-makers, and industry influencers statewide. The honor is particularly meaningful because honorees are not self-nominated: selection begins with nominations from C-level executives across the state, with final decisions made by the magazine’s editorial board in consultation with respected Arizona business leaders and industry experts. Gaspari’s inclusion reflects the regard his peers hold for his leadership, influence, and impact on the financial services industry and Southern Arizona community.

Promotions:

  • LAFCU continues to invest in internal leadership with the promotion of Kim Hengsbach to assistant collections manager, recognizing her longstanding commitment and contributions to the credit union’s operational strength. Hengsbach has been with LAFCU for more than 17 years and advanced from her previous role as collector. In her new position, she supports efforts to preserve the credit union’s assets by helping oversee delinquent accounts, charge-offs, and fraud losses.
  • LAFCU has promoted Morgan Pray to vice president of ATM/ITM operations recognizing her leadership, operational expertise and commitment to member service. In her new role, Pray will oversee the strategic direction, performance and growth of LAFCU’s ATM and interactive teller machine network, ensuring operational efficiency while enhancing member access and service delivery.
  • Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) has named Deanna Kievit vice president and manager of payment operations. Within this position, Kievit is responsible for the day-to-day operations of TFCU’s electronic payments and making sure transfers, deposits and other transactions are processed accurately and on time.
  • Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) has named Amanda Wall as assistant vice president and branch manager at its Moore branch. In this role, Wall leads the branch team and works to ensure members receive friendly, reliable service each time they visit. Wall joined TFCU in October 2013 and has since served in a variety of roles across the credit union. Her experience includes client services assistant with the TFCU Financial Advisors, lead associate in professional development, branch supervisor at both the Tri-City branch and Tinker Air Force Base (TAFB) branch and assistant branch manager at TAFB. She most recently led the Norman Southeast branch as assistant vice president and branch manager since the opening in April 2022. Wall is also a 2023 graduate of Credit Union National Association Management School.
  • Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) has named Daniel Williams senior vice president of accounting. In his new role, Williams leads TFCU’s accounting and finance functions and helps ensure the credit union has timely, accurate financial information to support decisions. At TFCU, Williams oversees financial reporting, accounting operations and related projects that support the credit union’s overall growth. Joseph Jackson, executive vice president and chief financial officer at TFCU, said Williams’ leadership and focus on using financial tools to serve members will benefit both employees and members.
  • Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) has named Larri Golleher as assistant vice president and branch manager at its Norman southeast branch where she leads the branch team and focuses on providing friendly, reliable service to members. Golleher began her career in 2010 as a part-time teller at a credit union, worked her way up to assistant vice president of operations and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2019. She began working at TFCU in 2023 as branch supervisor II and later assistant branch manager at the branches located on Tinker Air Force Base.
  • MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) recently announced several promotions.
    • Tiffany Bock, Vice President of Call Center – Bock joined MSU Federal Credit Union in 2007 and now leads the Credit Union’s Call Center as Vice President. She oversees a team of more than 100 employees committed to delivering exceptional member experiences. With more than 20 years of credit union expertise and a solid foundation in member service, Bock continues to focus on advancing a seamless omnichannel service model that blends innovative digital tools with meaningful human interactions. She drives the strategic direction and operational performance of the Call Center with a strong focus on service excellence and continuously elevating the member journey.
    • Amber Hill, Vice President of eServices and Video Services – Hill has been a dedicated leader at MSUFCU since 2013, bringing a strong foundation in customer service and significant experience supporting call center operations. In her new role, Hill will support the eServices, Video Services, and Personal Services teams leading transformative, member-focused initiatives that strengthen digital engagement and elevate service excellence across the organization. Her previous experience within the Credit Union reinforces her strategic insight and commitment to delivering exceptional member experiences.
    • Kara Maxey, Vice President of Member Lending – Maxey joined MSU Federal Credit Union in 2010 and currently serves as Vice President of Member Lending. In this role, she leads the organization’s loan origination strategy, focusing on driving sustainable loan growth, ensuring regulatory compliance and achieving key sales and performance objectives. Maxey and her team are committed to delivering superior member service and personalized guidance, connecting members with the right lending solutions and supporting products that generate loan origination growth.
    • Elizabeth Nagy, Credit Risk Operations Manager – Nagy joined the Credit Union in 2019 and has held roles within both Member Services and Credit Risk. She now serves as the Credit Risk Operations Manager, where she leads the organization’s efforts in processing credit disputes, garnishments, levies, and a broad portfolio of credit reporting responsibilities. Throughout her tenure, Nagy has demonstrated a strong commitment to operational excellence and regulatory integrity. Her leadership emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and consistent service delivery, ensuring that all credit‑related processes meet organizational standards and align with industry requirements.

Appointments:

  • Greylock Federal Credit Union announced at the Annual Meeting, three incumbent directors were re-elected to Greylock’s Board: Jerry Burke, Sheila LaBarbera and Ty Allan Jackson. Immediately following the annual meeting, Greylock’s Board of Directors met to elect the officers. Peter T. Lopez was reelected as Chairperson; Kelly J. Krok was reelected as Vice Chairperson; Krystle A. Blake was reelected as Secretary/Financial Officer; and Jamie Ellen Moncecchi was reelected as Assistant Secretary.
