TRUE Community Credit Union is thrilled to announce our partnership with Grow Jackson in launching the River & Rail Farm Stop, an exciting new venture located in Jackson County.
This neighborhood-scale grocery will feature a diverse selection of local, seasonal produce, milk, cheeses, meats, fresh bread, pantry essentials, and a curated assortment of beer and wine. Guests will also enjoy a welcoming café and patio, designed to foster community connection and celebrate the region’s agricultural heritage.
“At TRUE Community Credit Union, our mission is to cultivate legacy‑defining moments for the people and places we serve, and the River & Rail Farm Stop is exactly that kind of moment for the Jackson community,” said Chrissy Siders, President/CEO of TRUE Community Credit Union. “This space brings people together, supports local growers, and strengthens the fabric of our community. We’re proud to invest in initiatives like this that help Jackson thrive today and for generations to come.”
The River & Rail Farm Stop is more than just a store—it’s a cornerstone of Grow Jackson’s broader Food Hub ecosystem, anchoring food purchasing, aggregation, and distribution efforts right within the local community. By expanding fresh food access and strengthening the local food economy, the Farm Stop will play a critical role in stabilizing and supporting multiple food access programs throughout Jackson County.
“We are thrilled to open the River & Rail Farm Stop and offer Jackson County residents greater access to healthy, fresh food,” said Jacob Inosencio, Executive Director and Founder of Grow Jackson. “By building a space where local growers can connect directly with our community, we’re not only addressing food insecurity but also creating a sustainable model that empowers our neighbors and strengthens our local food system. Together, we can nourish families, support farmers, and make Jackson a healthier, more united place for all.”
This partnership underscores the shared commitment to sustainable, community-driven solutions that empower local producers and enrich the lives of Jackson County residents. Both Grow Jackson and TRUECCU look forward to welcoming everyone to River & Rail Farm Stop and to building a healthier, more resilient local food system together.
Grow Jackson was founded by four young adults from Jackson who believed that everyone deserves access to fresh, healthy food—no matter their income or neighborhood. Today, Grow Jackson is led by a dynamic and diverse board of community members who are deeply committed to their mission. They continue to build a more just, connected, and food-secure future for Jackson, one garden, one classroom, and one meal at a time. Learn more at GrowJackson.org.
