As Member Services Manager, you will lead the daily operations of the branch, ensuring service delivery is efficient, compliant, and member-focused. You’ll oversee a team of eight, providing coaching, direction, and ongoing development while fostering a culture built on accountability and service excellence. This is an on-site position based in El Segundo, California, reporting to the VP Member Services.
You will be responsible for maintaining smooth branch operations, monitoring performance metrics, ensuring proper cash controls, and resolving escalated member concerns with professionalism and sound judgment. Your leadership will help ensure that every member interaction reflects the credit union’s commitment to quality and care.
As Member Services Manager, you conduct quarterly performance reviews and ensure that annual written evaluations are completed and provided to employees in a timely manner.
This role also plays a critical part in maintaining compliance with National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) guidelines. You’ll ensure policies and procedures are followed, partner with internal teams on regulatory updates, and help always keep the branch audit-ready.
Beyond day-to-day operations, you’ll have the opportunity to influence the broader member experience. You’ll identify opportunities to improve service delivery, support cross-selling through team development, and provide insights into leadership based on member feedback and operational trends.
Help Us Get to Know You
Candidates should bring at least five years of experience in branch operations, member services, or retail banking, along with at least two years of leadership experience. A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.
You should have a strong understanding of credit union operations and regulatory expectations, along with a proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams. You’re a clear communicator, a thoughtful, analytical person, and someone who can balance operational discipline with a genuine commitment to member service.
Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, sound decision-making, and the ability to thrive in a demanding environment. Credit union or financial services experience is strongly preferred.

The salary range for this position is $95,000–$115,000, commensurate with experience.
