POSITION DETAIL

Resource One Credit Union, with approximately $655 million in assets, located in Dallas, Texas, is currently in search of an accounting executive to serve as their Controller. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the incoming Controller will be responsible for shaping the accounting department. This will entail coaching and mentoring staff, evaluating departmental staffing needs and roles, retooling processes and procedures, and establishing a culture of excellence in the department. The incoming executive needs to have proven experience in process improvement, strong analytical and reporting skills, exceptional people management skills, and the ability to establish a departmental strategic strategy. Five plus years of accounting management experience within a bank or credit union is required. This is a hybrid position with the opportunity to work from home three days per week.
