Three Credit Unions Announce New Hires; Eglin FCU Recognizes Member Service Counselor For Years of Service

Three credit unions, including LAFCU and PenAir Credit Union, announced new additions to their teams, and Eglin Federal Credit Union recognized one of its Member Service Counselors for her years of service.

New Hires:

  • LAFCU has hired Chris Tidwell as a technology specialist, strengthening the credit union’s technology team with an experienced professional who previously supported LAFCU as a contractor. In his new role, Tidwell provides technical guidance to the credit union in the areas of project and data management, help desk technical support, and department communications.
  • Your Marketing Co. is proud to announce Curt Westlake has joined Your Marketing Co. as Director of Creative. As Director of Creative, Westlake will lead the agency’s creative vision, mentor the design team, and continue elevating the strategic thinking and creative execution that have become hallmarks of the company.
  • PenAir Credit Union (PenAir) is proud to announce the appointment of Jay Wells as Vice President of Marketing and Communications, bringing a nationally-recognized financial services marketing leader to the organization’s senior leadership ranks as it continues investing in growth, innovation, and exceptional member experiences.
  • UMassFive College Credit Union (UMassFive) is pleased to welcome Kelley Jewell as its Community Engagement Coordinator. This newly created position reflects UMassFive’s continued investment in community engagement and expands the credit union’s ability to deliver financial wellness programs, strengthen community partnerships, and support volunteer efforts throughout the Pioneer Valley.

  • Eglin Federal Credit Union is pleased to congratulate Member Service Counselor Clasina Cox for 25 years of service. Clasina currently resides in Fort Walton Beach.  On Thursday, July 9, a celebratory breakfast was held at the Eglin AFB Branch to honor Clasina’s milestone anniversary. Friends, family and coworkers gathered to recognize her dedication and contributions.

Promotions:

Appointments:

  • Service One Credit Union is pleased to announce Heather Glass, CPA, has been appointed to its Supervisory Committee. Heather brings a strong background in financial management to the committee. She currently serves as a Pedagogical Assistant Professor of Accounting and Advisor for Beta Alpha Psi at Western Kentucky University, where she teaches courses in financial and managerial accounting and helps prepare the next generation of accounting professionals.
  • Hawaii State Federal Credit Union (Hawaii State FCU) announced that Darcy Endo-Omoto, vice president and executive advisor to the CEO at Hawaiian Electric Industries and Hawaiian Electric, has been elected to serve on its nine-member volunteer board of directors. Endo-Omoto has more than 25 years of executive leadership experience spanning the legal, energy and public policy sectors. She currently serves as vice president and executive advisor to the CEO at Hawaiian Electric Industries and Hawaiian Electric, where she provides strategic counsel on enterprise initiatives and corporate priorities. Prior to joining Hawaiian Electric, Endo-Omoto was a partner at Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel, where she advised clients on complex business, regulatory and governmental matters. Throughout her career, she has built extensive experience in executive leadership, government relations, corporate strategy and public affairs. Endo-Omoto has been a member of Hawaii State FCU for more than 28 years.
