Every July, credit unions across the nation fire up their social media accounts to remind people why the credit union model matters. But TruWest isn’t stopping at digital high-fives this year. They’re bringing the party offline with in-person celebrations at their financial service centers.
We’re talking photo booths. Refreshments. All the festive trimmings you’d want when showing off your financial institution pride. (Yes, that’s a thing now.)
“We’re inviting everyone to celebrate TruWest online and in person,” said Jennifer Kimmell, chief experience officer at TruWest. “Share your selfies, tag us with #TruWestCU and #ILoveMyCreditUnion, and help spread the excitement on social media. Members can also stop by one of our financial service centers for a day of connection and celebration as we showcase what makes our credit union meaningful to our members and employees.”
So whether you snap a selfie for the ‘gram or swing by your local credit union for some face-to-face celebration, July 31 is your chance to give a little love back to an institution that’s been looking out for your wallet all year long.
