The new Russellville location expands upon commitment to make it easier to do business
Officials with Arkansas Federal Credit Union, the city of Russellville, and the Russellville Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday to celebrate the credit union’s newest branch, and first location in Russellville, Ark.
Located at 1815 East Main Street, the 3,000 square-foot facility marks the third location in the River Valley and 23rd overall location in Arkansas for Arkansas Federal.
In attendance at the ceremony were local community and business leaders, including Russellville Mayor Fred Teague, and Samantha Guerra, membership director of the Russellville Chamber of Commerce.
“As we celebrate this newest branch opening, it’s not just another location for Arkansas Federal, it’s an investment into the members and communities we serve in the greater Russellville area and River Valley,” said Rodney Showmar, president and CEO of Arkansas Federal. “We’re not only enhancing convenience for our members—we’re also creating meaningful job opportunities that help strengthen the local economies we proudly serve. We look forward to continuing to partner with the residents and businesses in the greater Russellville area to help them achieve their financial goals and further our mission to make a difference in the communities we serve.”
Local Arkansas Federal leadership includes Tiffany Mitchell, vice president of retail, and Alex Melchor, manager of the Russellville branch.
The new full-service branch offers consumer and commercial accounts, loans, mortgages, treasury management services, as well as insurance and investment services. The branch is staffed by a team of five, and features two drive-thru lanes and one 24-hour ATM.
