Day Air Hosts Record-Breaking College Prep Night

Day Air Credit Union is proud to announce the success of its largest College Prep Night yet, held recently for aspiring college students and their families at Day Air Ballpark. The event welcomed over 2,000 students and their families, providing an invaluable opportunity to meet with representatives from more than 70 colleges and universities across the country.

College Prep Night featured representatives from leading higher education institutions, allowing  students to engage directly, ask questions, and gather vital information about admissions, scholarships,  and academic programs. This unique in-person setting offered insights that can play a significant role in  shaping students' future educational decisions.

In addition to the wealth of information provided by college representatives, Day Air was delighted to  award two scholarships for higher education to attendees of the event, showcasing its ongoing  commitment to supporting the educational aspirations of the community.

Day Air also proudly launched its new Student Loan Marketplace during the event, dayair.org/studentloans, offering an innovative solution for families navigating the often-overwhelming  process of financing higher education. The Student Loan Marketplace provides an “Expedia-like”  experience for students, presenting up to 15 different private loan options within two minutes. This new  tool gives students and families the ability to easily compare private student loans, ensuring they make  well-informed decisions.

"Making informed financial decisions is crucial, especially when it comes to higher education," said Joe  Eckley, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Day Air Credit Union. "At Day Air, we  believe that providing the right tools and resources, like College Prep Night or our Student Loan  Marketplace, can make all the difference in achieving financial success."
