A few credit unions including Corporate Central Credit Union and Greater Texas Credit Union announced new hires, and Ncontracts’ VP of Compliance and CEO have published a new book.

New Hires

  • Corporate Central is pleased to announce the addition of Raghu Gandhe as Data and Analytics Architect. In this critical role, Gandhe will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating scalable, reliable, resilient, cost-efficient, and secure data and analytic solutions for Corporate Central’s SaaS applications and fintech innovation.

  • Ventura County Credit Union has selected Paul Emanuels as its next Vice President of Lending. The selection follows an extensive search facilitated by DDJ Myers, the well-known executive search and leadership development firm. “We’re thrilled to welcome Paul to the team,” says Ed Sahakian, CLO for Ventura County Credit Union. “His strong background in lending, expertise in planning and successful execution of comprehensive performance strategies will benefit the credit union and our membership.”

  • Greater Texas Credit Union is further strengthening its payments team to capitalize on the growing dominance of payments as the consumer choice for everyday spending and moving money. Amanda Yates is the newest addition to the payments team, joining the credit union as AVP Payments Growth & Product Management. In her 20-plus year career in financial services, Yates has worked for organizations ranging from large card issuers to mid-sized financial institutions, growing transaction volume of payment portfolios and identifying, developing, and launching new payment products and services to support consumer needs.

In 2021, Berman published The Upside of Risk: Turning Complex Burdens into Strategic Advantages for Financial Institutions, exploring why risk management and strategic planning are inseparable.
