Members First 26th Annual Swinging for Scholarships Golf Outing Raises $10,000
Members First Credit Union is thrilled to announce that its 26th Annual Swinging for Scholarships Golf Outing, presented by Buck Wild Digital Marketing, raised $10,000. These funds will directly support students pursuing their college or trade school goals in 2025, helping them advance their academic and career objectives.
This year’s sold-out event was a resounding success, featuring 36 teams, 144 golfers, and 64 sponsors. The outing was especially notable as the first since the brand refresh, introducing vibrant new colors, updated signage, and an electrifying atmosphere.
"Our Swinging for Scholarships golf outing is more than just a day on the course; it's an opportunity to support students on their journey of wellbeing, said Bethany Dutcher, Vice President of Marketing. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our members and partners; by raising funds for scholarships, we are investing in the future of our community, creating a ripple effect of opportunity to create a thriving future for all."
What began 25 years ago with two $500 scholarships has grown into four $2,500 scholarships. Since its founding in 1936 as a credit union for teachers and school employees, Members First Credit Union has utilized its annual golf outing as a key fundraising event. Over the years, this event has significantly expanded, now providing substantial support to help students achieve their educational goals.
Members First extends heartfelt thanks to the volunteers, Pohl Cat Golf Course, golf teams, sponsors, and vendors for their invaluable contributions to making this event a success. For more information about M1’s scholarship program, visit mfcu.net/Scholarships.
