Naveo Credit Union raises $600 for Boston Children’s Hospital through the Miracle Jeans Day initiative
For the fourteenth consecutive year, Naveo Credit Union participated in the Miracle Jeans Day initiative to raise funds for Boston Children’s Hospital, its local Miracle Network hospital. During the month of September, Naveo joined hundreds of organizations and raised funds from employees and members. Naveo then matched the employee donations for a total donation of $600.
Naveo participated in the Miracle Jeans Day initiative throughout the month of September, but designated Wednesday, September 11 as Miracle Jeans Day. Participants traded in their business attire for jeans and their favorite New England sports team shirt in exchange for a donation to Boston Children’s Hospital. To raise additional funds, Naveo extended employee jeans to an additional day each week throughout the month of September. Donations were also accepted at the branches and online.
“Thank you to our members, employees and neighbors who share our commitment to ensuring children in our community have access to life-saving health care by donating to our annual Miracle Jeans Day fundraiser. We’re honored to be a part of CreditUnion4Kids and partner with Boston Children’s Hospital for this impactful fundraiser,” commented Andrea J. White, President/CEO of Naveo Credit Union.
