PAHO/WHO FCU Proudly Supports 20th Annual PAHO Walk for Health

PAHO/WHO Federal Credit Union supported and participated in the 20th Annual Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) Walk for Health.

On Sunday, September 29, ten PAHO/WHO FCU employees volunteered to help with the event, which included games, giveaways and a 2.25 mile walk around Washington DC’s Foggy Bottom neighborhood. Hundreds of participants walked to help raise awareness of the importance of health and well-being.

“For over 75 years, it has been our honor to serve the employees, families and retirees of PAHO with the mission to help members of the global health community live better, healthier financial lives,” said Miguel Boluda, Jr., PAHO/WHO FCU CEO. “We are proud to support PAHO in its effort to promote health and well-being.”

The PAHO Walk for Health was designed to help promote the importance of physical activity, well-being, mental health, and healthy cities in the Americas. The event brings together an international and local audience highlighting the important objective of promoting healthy lifestyles and the need for access to health for all people in the Americas and around the world.
