PAHO/WHO FCU Mourns the Passing of Two Influential Leaders

PAHO/WHO Federal Credit Union has announced the passing of John Ford and Leonard Supchak, two of the Credit Union’s longtime influential and prominent leaders.

John Ford was a member of the PAHO/WHO FCU Board of Directors for over 45 years, including several years as Chairman. For the last 20 years, he led as Director Emeritus.

Leonard (Lenny) Supchak spent his career working in finance, retiring as CEO of PAHO/WHO FCU in 2003.

Both men helped shape PAHO/WHO FCU to become the organization it is today. Lenny Supchak was well known within the local credit union community, pushing for changes that would benefit members everywhere. John Ford was also influential at the Credit Union, helping guide PAHO/WHO FCU as a member of the Board of Directors.

“John was not just one more volunteer,” stated Miguel Boluda, Jr., PAHO/WHO FCU CEO. “He was fulfilling a calling, a purpose that drove him to excel thus inspiring all board members to commit and give their time and dedication to the ideals of the credit union which is to promote the financial well-being of our members.”

Credit Union team members, Board Members, and those served by the Credit Union will forever remember these men’s legacy of dedication, integrity, and unwavering commitment to excellence
