SDCCU Full Bowls Pet Food Drive is Collecting Food for Rancho Coastal Humane Society

Throughout March, donate new, unopened and unexpired dog or cat food at SDCCU branches in San Diego County

San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of Southern California’s largest locally-owned financial institutions, has partnered with Rancho Coastal Humane Society (RCHS) to host a pet food drive to help stock the shelves of the RCHS pantry and support the great work they do for animals in our community. Throughout March, SDCCU’s Full Bowls campaign will collect new, unopened, unexpired dog and cat food at all of San Diego County’s convenient SDCCU branch locations. Donations will be given to RCHS to feed animals in their care, as well as to distribute to the community through their pet food bank to aid pet parents who need a helping paw. Details at sdccu.com/petfooddrive.

“We are grateful for the support of SDCCU,” said Judi Sanzo, president and CEO of Rancho Coastal Humane Society. “When asked to identify a need, it was easy to choose food as our #1 priority. We spend more than $30,000 each year to feed our shelter pets. Donated food items will allow us to allocate more funding to veterinary costs for pets who are transitioning in our care from abandoned to adoptable. Additionally, we have become a life sustaining resource for community pets through our Pet Food Bank, providing food and essential pet supplies, no questions asked. SDCCU is helping Rancho Coastal Humane Society fulfill its commitment to the animal-loving community we serve.”

“We are proud to partner with Rancho Coastal Humane Society and support their efforts to help animals and their families in our community,” said Teresa Campbell, SDCCU president and CEO. “We encourage those who are able to stop by our branches to donate and feed shelter animals and local pets in need.”

Rancho Coastal Humane Society is dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned companion animals, promoting adoption into loving homes and offering education programs and support services that inspire and strengthen the human-animal bond. For more information, visit rchumanesociety.org/
