SDCCU President and CEO Teresa Campbell Honored with a 2023 Gold Stevie Award for Women in Business


Global awards program recognizes the world’s top female executives

San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of Southern California’s largest locally owned financial institutions, is proud to announce that SDCCU President and CEO, Teresa Campbell, was honored with a Gold Stevie® Award in the 2023 Stevie Awards for Women in Business. The awards honor the world’s top women entrepreneurs, executives, employees and the organizations they run. More than 1,600 nominations were submitted this year by organizations and individuals for consideration, and SDCCU President and CEO Teresa Campbell was awarded the Gold Stevie Award in the Female Executive of the Year category.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are produced by the creators of the prestigious American Business Awards® and International Business Awards®. The Stevies are widely considered to be the world's premier honor for achievement in the workplace.

“I am honored to have been selected among so many other amazing professionals,” said Campbell. “Thank you to the Stevie Award organizers and judges for awarding me this prestigious honor.”

Campbell has earned a number of notable awards for her accomplishments and leadership in the time she has been with SDCCU. Among the most recent, she was recognized as one San Diego’s Most Influential People by San Diego Business Journal, named one of SD Metro Magazine’s Women of Influence for the third consecutive year, selected as one of American Banker’s Most Powerful Women in Credit Unions and selected to receive the 2022 California Nevada Credit Union League (CCUL) Distinguished Service Award. In 2021, she was honored as San Diego Business Woman of the Year by the San Diego Business Journal, recognized with a Stevie Award for Women in Business and selected for a Business Leadership Award from the North San Diego Business Chamber. In 2020, she was named a CEO of the Year finalist and one of San Diego’s Top 50 Executives by San Diego Business Journal.
