TruWest Ignites Community Spirit on I Love My Credit Union Day

Credit Union Members Unite on July 26 to Share Their Stories and Love for TruWest

On Friday, July 26, TruWest® Credit Union will join credit union enthusiasts nationwide unite for a day dedicated to celebrating the many reasons community members love their credit unions. This day is an opportunity to inspire engaging and lively conversations about the impact of credit unions in the local community.

Each July, TruWest kicks off a major social media campaign to raise community awareness about the credit union movement. This year, TruWest Credit Union is excited to enhance the celebration with special activities at their Financial Service Centers. Members can enjoy photo booths, balloons, snacks, and treats while sharing their love for their credit union.

“We encourage all members to contribute to our CU wall, share selfies, and tag #TruWestCU and #ILoveMyCreditUnion,” said Jennifer Kimmell, chief experience officer of TruWest. “Let's create a vibrant and heartfelt display of our collective appreciation. Members and employees will also be invited to share why they love their credit union, with Financial Service Centers capturing memorable moments and pictures with our valued members.”

Credit unions are not-for-profit organizations owned by their members. They often offer lower fees, better interest rates, personalized service and ongoing financial education. Credit unions also invest in local community development, supporting local causes and charities.

“Join the celebration, share your stories, and let’s make a meaningful impact together, inspired by our cooperative spirit,” said Kimmel.
