VyStar Credit Union Continues Growth in Florida With Opening of Third Branch in Tallahassee

VyStar Credit Union is proud to announce its Capital Circle location is now open at 3398 Capital Circle NE in Tallahassee, Florida. This is VyStar’s third full-service branch in Tallahassee.

In support of its purpose to Do Good, VyStar partners with nonprofit organizations across the communities it serves. VyStar will make a $5,000 donation to the Women Veterans Unite Corporation to celebrate the grand opening of the Capital Circle branch at the ribbon cutting event on June 11.

“We’re excited to open our third branch in Florida’s capital,” said VyStar EVP/Chief Operations Officer Chad Meadows. “The Capital Circle branch is located in a community filled with tradition and we are excited to serve the many families who have called this wonderful area home for generations. This branch will provide residents and business owners with better banking options, including free checking, access to early direct deposit, great rates, financial wellness education through VyStar’s Financial Fitness initiative, and unbelievable member-centric service that only a credit union can provide.”

The Tallahassee Capital Circle branch features VyStar’s innovative digital-forward design, which enhances how employees connect with members. This includes interactive touchscreen kiosks that provide helpful financial tools and allow members to quickly explore the latest products, services and rates. Lobby and drive-thru hours for the Capital Circle branch are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

VyStar is dedicated to serving the Tallahassee area both through financial services and by giving back to the community. The credit union has local partnerships with Knight Creative Communities, Foundation for Leon County Schools, United Partners for Human Services, Dynamic Xplosion Cheer, America’s Second Harvest of Big Bend and the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce.

VyStar’s first Tallahassee branch opened in June 2021 on W. Tennessee Street followed by the Tallahassee-Mahan Drive location in December 2022. VyStar is further expanding its presence in Central Florida with a new location in Lake Nona later this year. The credit union also has eight branches in Georgia with plans to open branches in Pooler, Kingsland and Peachtree City over the next year.
