The holiday season is a time for giving, and Day Air Credit Union proudly continued its tradition of supporting the community through meaningful acts of kindness and generosity. With help from dedicated staff and local partnerships, Day Air brought joy to families, children, and veterans across the Miami Valley.
This year, each Day Air Financial Center led a unique outreach effort to support the local community:
The North Dixie Financial Center supported the Butler Township Shop with a Cop program, helping provide local children with holiday gifts, everyday essentials, and a joyful shopping experience alongside local law enforcement.
The Beavercreek Financial Center made a heartfelt donation to Owen’s Place, a universally accessible playground and recreational space designed to promote inclusion and play for individuals of all abilities.
The Centerville Financial Center partnered with Hannah’s Treasure Chest to host an Angel Tree, ensuring children in need throughout the area received gifts to brighten their holidays. Thanks to the generosity of staff and members, every single tag on the tree was fulfilled.
The VA Financial Center delivered holiday gift bags to veterans in the memory care unit at the VA Medical Center, filled with festive treats and personal touches to honor and uplift those who served.
The Wilmington Pike Financial Center and the Day Air Contact Center joined the City of Kettering’s Giving Tree program, helping provide gifts to children in the Kettering City School District who might otherwise go without this season.
“At Day Air, we believe the holidays are about showing up for one another,” said John Theobald, President of Day Air Credit Union. “We’re honored to support the organizations doing critical work in our neighborhoods and to help bring holiday spirit, comfort, and joy to those who need it most.”
Day Air Credit Union remains committed to enhancing the financial well-being and overall well-being of the communities it serves, not only during the holidays, but all year long.
