Due to an upcoming retirement, The Credit Union is looking for a forward-thinking, collaborate leader to lead their organization as the next President / Chief Executive Officer. This role provides strategic leadership, vision, and management for the credit union as a whole. This executive is responsible for ensuring the credit union’s financial strength, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, member satisfaction, and long-term growth and viability. The President/CEO works closely with the Board of Directors and the Executive team to establish strategic objectives and oversee the implementation of policies, programs, and initiatives that support the credit union’s mission and values. The CEO plans, directs, or coordinates operational activities at the highest level of management through the Executive team and other managers of the credit union with the objective of establishing defined objectives, plans, and policies subject to the approval of the Board of Directors. Additionally, the CEO is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and financial performance of the credit union. This role will identify new opportunities for growth, technology advancement, and market expansion to remain competitive while ensuring the organization fulfills its mission of serving members.

This tech savvy visionary will have a moral fiber, strong belief in the cooperative movement, be confident, adaptable, intelligent and possess demonstrated leadership, excellent communication and listening skills, emotional intelligence, and a collaborative approach, to propel this organization into the future with continued service excellence with a progressive approach. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ senior management experience at a financial institution, a proven track record of success, and a passion for the industry and community. The candidate needs to have a Bachelor’s Degree with professional certification.  Applicants for the CEO position should possess advanced knowledge in the field.”
