Chief Lending Officer

First Source Credit Union is a leading community-focused financial institution with more than $1.1 billion in assets and 60,000 members across Oneida and Herkimer Counties.  With a newly expanded charter that broadens its market reach and growth opportunities, First Source is seeking a dynamic Chief Lending Officer (CLO) to join its executive leadership team.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the CLO will provide strategic leadership for all lending functions, including consumer, mortgage, commercial lending, loan servicing, collections, and product development. The role is responsible for driving loan growth, portfolio quality, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional member experience while helping advance the credit union’s mission of improving the quality of life for its employees, members, and communities.

The ideal candidate will bring a collaborative leadership style, strong strategic vision, and extensive lending experience, including at least 7 to 10 years in lending management or 3 to 5 years in a senior lending leadership role within a comparable financial institution. Experience in consumer, mortgage, and commercial lending is preferred.
