Kemba Credit Union Selects Velera for Debit and Credit Card Processing Support

Velera has announced it will provide Kemba Credit Union (Kemba) with debit and credit card processing services and support.

Founded in 1934 and headquartered near Cincinnati, Kemba serves more than 130,000 members and holds over $1.7 billion in assets. With 14 branches across Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky, Kemba offers personalized financial solutions including checking, savings, loans and digital banking. The credit union is also committed to supporting local communities through its award-winning service initiatives.

When selecting a card processing partner, Kemba prioritized organizations that shared its member-first philosophy and understood its strategic goals. Following a comprehensive evaluation process, Kemba chose Velera based on its seamless integration capabilities and alignment with the “people helping people” credit union philosophy.

Velera will begin providing debit and credit processing support to Kemba in August 2026.
