Diamond Awards Recognize and Reward Excellence in Credit Union Marketing
Mazuma Credit Union was among nation-wide credit unions named as winners of the prestigious Diamond Award – the Marketing, PR & Development Council’s annual competition for marketing excellence, creativity, and impact. Credit unions, advertising agencies, and associations submitted 1,400 submissions for the prestigious awards, which were presented during a ceremony in Austin, Texas on March 25th.
Mazuma’s Marketing Team took home Diamond Awards in four categories. After being recognized with Brand Awareness awards in 2023 and 2024, this year the team received the Category’s Best award for Brand Awareness, which recognizes their total creative output across all assets and channels designed to increase the Credit Union’s brand recognition in Kansas City. Another Category’s Best award, for Out of Home marketing, honored materials created for and showcased during events with partner organizations Sporting KC and KC Current.
Mazuma also received recognition in the Social Media category for their recently launched TikTok channel and in the Commercial Video category for “The Interview,” a 30-second spot created in partnership with DMH Advertising and Bark Productions.

In addition to Engle, Mazuma’s Marketing Team includes Marketing Leader Lauren Gray, Graphic Design Specialist Jeremy Morton, Senior Communication Specialist Vincent Wagner, Marketing Coordinator Nathan Walker, and Social Media Specialist Marisa Noe.
