Member Access Processing (MAP), the leading provider of the Visa DPS Debit, Credit, ATM, and Digital Payment Processing platform to credit unions nationwide, held its annual user’s conference, UConference26- Momentum, in Scottsdale, Arizona January 12-14, bringing together nearly 150 attendees from 38 credit unions and 15 partners and sponsors.

New this year, MAP included a fundraiser as part of the conference called Momentum for Miracles, benefiting Credit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids) and Children’s Miracle Network. What began as a $5,000 fundraising goal quickly grew into something bigger. Early in the conference, MAP CEO Steve Bone committed to the organization guaranteeing a $26,000 contribution. By the close of UConference26, attendees, sponsors, and partners had raised $11,135, and MAP proudly added $26,000—bringing the total impact to $37,135.

“As a CUSO, giving back to the communities, members and causes that matter most to the credit union movement is core to who we are,” said Bone. “Momentum for Miracles is proof of what happens when purpose meets partnership. The collective commitment shown at UConference26 reflects the heart of the credit union movement and the real difference we can make together.”

A highlight of the conference was a powerful reminder of why giving back matters. Jordan Olstead, Corporate Development Officer at Phoenix Children’s Foundation, introduced attendees to Adam and his mother, Lynn. A patient at Phoenix Children’s since infancy, Adam is 14 and thriving as an accomplished musician in a School of Rock band. His spirit and resilience left a lasting impression on everyone in the room.

“Stories like Adam’s are a powerful reminder that the care provided at Children’s Miracle Network goes beyond treatments,” said Olstead. “Funds raised through partnerships and events like UConference26 ensure that Children’s Miracle Network can continue delivering care that changes lives.”

“The credit union movement has a long-standing commitment to helping kids and families thrive, and events like UConference26 show what’s possible when that commitment turns into action,” said Melissa Gehl, CU4Kids Program Manager. “MAP and its partners didn’t just meet a goal—they created meaningful impact for kids on their health journeys supported by Children’s Miracle Network.”
