Mutual Federal Credit Union (Mutual CU) has chosen Velera, the nation’s premier payments credit union service organization (CUSO) and an integrated financial technology solutions provider, to provide its debit and credit card processing services and support.
Founded in 1931 as the Federal Credit Union of Vicksburg, Mutual CU is Mississippi’s oldest credit union and, as the fourth credit union in the U.S. to offer online account services, an early pioneer of digital innovation. Today, the credit union serves more than 42,000 members across five states and holds over $490 million in assets. Mutual CU is committed to providing personalized support and a full range of financial solutions to help its members achieve their goals.
In selecting a debit and credit processing provider, Mutual CU sought a dependable partner with a proven track record of working with its core and home banking systems. The credit union ultimately selected Velera, citing the organization’s competitive market position and recommendations from existing Velera clients.
