Nuvision CU celebrates grand opening of new Mesa-Longbow branch

Credit union welcomes members, community partners, and city and civic leaders to grand opening of state-of-the-art branch.

Continuing its commitment to — and investment in — the local communities it serves, Nuvision Credit Union today celebrated the grand opening of its new full-service Mesa-Longbow, AZ branch with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

The credit union welcomed more than 50 members, local officials and community leaders to the ceremony, including Mesa Chamber of Commerce’s CEO, Sally Harrison and Membership Director, Susan Tychman, City of Mesa Councilmember Alicia Goforth, and Kristin Sorensen, Senior Community & Government Relations Specialist for The Boeing Company.

The event included lunch, tours of the state-of-the-art branch and member experience, and a meet and greet with Nuvision’s CEO, Roger Ballard, members of the Nuvision executive leadership team, and Mesa branch staff.

The new branch, located at 5822 E. Longbow Pkwy., Ste 101, Mesa, marks an important milestone in the credit union’s expansion in Arizona and its continued commitment to serving the region. Nuvision has been a part of the Mesa community for 40 years, beginning with its first branch serving Boeing employees, its current Boeing campus branch, which opened in 2004, and now the new state-of-the-art Mesa-Longbow branch.

The state-of-the art facility offers convenient access to in-person banking, new ITMs (ATMs) providing personalized touch of a live teller, as well as comprehensive digital and mobile services to better serve our members’ needs.

Beyond serving members’ financial needs, the credit union is deeply committed to the communities it serves. Nuvision has a 90-year history of giving back to its communities, delivering meaningful impact through a variety of initiatives centered on helping youth and families, advancing financial literacy, honoring veterans and first responders, and supporting local nonprofits. In 2025 alone, Nuvision participated in/hosted 100 community events across the 5 states it serves, with more than 600 team members volunteering over 1,500 hours in local communities.

During the event, Nuvision recognized two valued Mesa-based community partners, non-profit Paz De Cristo Community Center and VFW Post 1760 – Mesa, with a check presentation ceremony, supporting each organization’s efforts in helping the community.

“We are excited to be expanding our presence in Mesa, and in Arizona, with a new location that will allow us to better serve our members and our community,” noted Roger Ballard, Nuvision’s CEO. “We look forward to helping our members live a healthy financial lifestyle and reach their financial goals by providing an exceptional banking experience and services that meet them where they are in their financial wellness journey.”
