Peake Federal Credit Union today announced the appointment of Stacie Sloan as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, marking the conclusion of a comprehensive national search and the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the credit union.
Sloan’s appointment reflects Peake’s continued focus on strengthening member impact, driving sustainable growth, and building on its long-standing commitment to the communities it serves. The Board’s decision reinforces its commitment to delivering meaningful, people-first financial services while reflecting Peake’s promise, “Banking. Elevated.”
Board Chair Jeff Mayhew shared, “Stacie is a thoughtful, people-first leader with a strong track record of driving results while staying grounded in the credit union mission. Her ability to align strategy, operations, and culture positions Peake for continued growth while ensuring we remain focused on delivering meaningful value to our members and community.”
Sloan is a respected, people-first credit union executive known for her ability to turn vision into meaningful results. Throughout her career, she has led organizations through growth and transformation by strengthening operations, enhancing the member experience, and building high-performing, engaged teams. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to financial wellness, inclusion, and the long-term success of the members and communities she serves.
Most recently, as chief operating officer at Johns Hopkins Federal Credit Union, Sloan played a key role in advancing organizational strategy, driving sustainable growth, and aligning teams around a shared vision for impact. Her approach blends strategic clarity with a strong focus on people, ensuring progress is both measurable and mission-driven.
Sloan holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Maryland University College. She brings a leadership approach grounded in collaboration, accountability, and a genuine passion for helping others achieve financial well-being.

As Peake looks ahead, Sloan will partner with the Board and leadership team to build on the credit union’s strong foundation and lead its next phase of growth. Her leadership will focus on deepening member relationships, expanding opportunities, and ensuring Peake continues to deliver meaningful, people-first financial services across the communities it serves.
