Since the program’s inception in 2010, more than $261,000 has been awarded in scholarships to graduating high school seniors within PenAir’s 19-county field of membership.
“Students of this generation are seeing so much happen in the world, and most of the applicants we had share the effects it’s had on them,” says Casey Brueske, Community Education Development Specialist. “As we read this year’s applications, we were deeply moved by their efforts to not only maintain good grades, but to have an impact on their community, whether it manifested from personal experience or through just getting involved. At PenAir Credit Union, we are happy to play a role in their future success.”
Each student will receive up to $1,250 per semester (Fall and Spring Semesters only) from PenAir to put toward tuition, fees, and supplies to attend school. Learn more at penair.org/Scholarships.
