Reliant Credit Union Celebrates Members with “Spend, Save, Give Day”

One hand placing heart into another hand

Reliant Credit Union recently celebrated the heart of the credit union philosophy, “people helping people,” through its first-ever Spend, Save, Give Day. This day was a special member appreciation event designed to promote smart spending, intentional saving, and community giving—and spread a little cheer around the holidays!

As part of the celebration, 40 members were randomly selected to receive a unique Spend, Save, Give Day prize package, which included three components:

  • $100 to Spend – A gift card to enjoy however they chose
  • $100 to Save – Deposited into a new Starter Certificate with a term selected by the member
  • $50 to Give – Donated by Reliant to a local nonprofit chosen by the winner

“Spend, Save, Give Day is a reflection of what it means to be part of a credit union community,” said Pamela Heald, President & CEO of Reliant Credit Union. “We’re proud to celebrate our members during the holiday season, while also supporting the local organizations that make a meaningful difference across the Finger Lakes and Rochester regions.”

Members directed their charitable donation to one of the following community organizations:

  • The Arc Monroe
  • The Arc Ontario
  • The Arc Wayne
  • The Humane Society of Wayne County
  • Thrive to Survive

With a donation of $2,000 spread across five charities, Reliant is looking forward to deepening its commitment to meaningful community partnerships.
