In an age where scams and digital deception are becoming increasingly sophisticated, Reliant Credit Union is calling on artists of all ages to take a creative stand against fraud. The organization has officially launched its Fraud Fighters Art & Meme Contest, inviting community members to use their talents to help others “Think Before You Share.”

The contest is open now through July 31, 2025, and encourages participants to submit original artwork—including hand-drawn posters, digital illustrations, or memes—that raise awareness about the dangers of scams and fraud. This year’s theme, “Think Before You Share,” challenges artists to explore how easily scammers can exploit their victims into sharing sensitive information.

“Our goal is to empower the community to recognize and respond to the ever-changing tactics of fraudsters,” said Pamela Heald, President & CEO of Reliant. “By tapping into the power of creativity, we hope to educate and engage people of all ages in a conversation about how you can protect yourself by limiting the information you share with others.”

Entries will be accepted in three age categories: Youth (Under 13), Teen (13–17), and Adult (18+). Winners in each category will receive exclusive Reliant swag, and top submissions will be featured in Reliant’s monthly newsletter, social media channels, and in a virtual gallery on the credit union’s website.

To help artists prepare, Reliant invites entrants to view its online Fraud Prevention Hub at www.reliantcu.com/resources/fraud-id-theft/, where they can find tips, red flag warnings, and resources to help individuals become smarter and safer. Whether you’re just learning the basics of fraud prevention or are already a seasoned scam-spotter, the hub offers tools to stay one step ahead.

Contest entries can be submitted online at www.reliantcu.com/fraud-fighters-contest/using the official contest form, or dropped off along with a completed form at any Reliant branch.
