As part of a recent wellness initiative focused on mindfulness and decluttering, Reliant Credit Union employees donated gently used professional attire to benefit EnCompass, a Rochester-based organization that supports students and families as they prepare for the next step in their education or career journey.
The clothing drive encouraged Reliant employees to clean out and donate gently used professional attire. The effort served dual purposes: helping employees declutter their spaces for mental wellness, while providing much-needed resources to individuals in the EnCompass community preparing for job interviews, college admissions, and professional opportunities.
The result was a collection of more than 225 pieces of professional clothing and accessories—including dresses, blouses, dress shirts, pants, blazers, shoes, and suits—which will directly benefit students and families served by EnCompass. The in-kind gift will also be matched at 150% by The Sands Family Foundation
“This initiative reflects the heart of our wellness efforts: encouraging personal growth while supporting others,” said Pamela Heald, President & CEO at Reliant. “We’re proud to help individuals in our community step confidently into their future.”
This meaningful collaboration continues Reliant’s commitment to serving its members and neighbors, both through financial services and impactful community engagement. In addition to the clothing drive, Reliant also partners with EnCompass by providing free financial education to help empower students and families with the tools they need to build brighter financial futures.
