On Oct. 16 Royal Credit Union (Royal) will join credit unions around the world in celebrating International Credit Union (ICU) Day®, an annual celebration recognizing the impact and achievements of the credit union movement. This year marks the 77th anniversary of ICU Day, which will be celebrated with the theme of “Cooperation for a Prosperous World”.
Royal invites Members and non-members to visit any Royal office between Oct. 10 and Oct. 20 to enter to win a gift basket featuring a custom ICU Day puzzle, neck pillow, and various travel essentials. Free coloring pages will also be available in all offices during the giveaway period in celebration of ICU Day.
Credit Unions were built on the principle of “people helping people,” a philosophy that continues to guide not-for-profit financial cooperatives more than 100 years later.
