Several credit unions, including SELCO Community Credit Union and Redwood Credit Union announced promotions, and Nacha announced the recipients of this year’s 15 Under 40 Awards.
New Hires:
- Velera – formerly PSCU/Co-op Solutions, announced Chris Watkins has been named senior vice president of Client Service Delivery. In this role, Watkins will oversee the design and implementation of innovative service models, initiatives and procedures to ultimately deliver Velera financial institutions with exceptional, quality services and solutions.
- Hopewell Federal Credit Union (HFCU) prides itself on hiring quality team members who provide the highest level of caring service. The most recent addition includes Paul Hessler as MLO. Hessler is excited to join the Hopewell Federal Credit Union family! He brings over 20 years of customer service and sales experience, with the most recent nine years focusing on mortgage and financial services.

- Eglin Federal Credit Union is pleased to congratulate Mortgage Services Quality Control/Underwriting Supervisor Susan Dombrigues for 30 years of service. Susan currently resides in Fort Walton Beach. “Over the past three decades, Susan has been a dedicated member of our Credit Union team. - Former Unitus Community Credit Union Board Chair, Barbara J. Leonard, has been inducted posthumously into the AACUC Hall of Fame. This distinguished honor recognizes the contributions to the credit union community. Ms. Leonard is one of just 81 individuals to receive this honor. The induction ceremony, held in Washington, D.C., brought more than 400 people together to honor and recognize people who have contributed to the credit union movement by providing access to financial capital for African Americans and majority-ethnic communities. A Unitus delegation attended the ceremony, alongside Ms. Leonard’s family. Her daughter, Serena Ashley, accepted the recognition on her behalf.

Promotions:
SELCO Community Credit Union has promoted Josh Lusby and Caleb Pickering to new roles within SELCO Investment & Retirement Services, available through CUSO Financial Services, LP (CFS)*. Lusby is now a CFS Wealth Advisor, while Pickering was moved up to CFS Financial Advisor. Lusby will operate out of SELCO’s Gateway Branch in Springfield, while Pickering is stationed at SELCO’s Santa Clara Branch in Eugene.
Esteban Zuno has been promoted to senior vice president of wealth, insurance, and deposit services for Redwood Credit Union. In his new role, Zuno will be responsible for the development and execution of strategic plans and financial services for wealth management, deposit services, and RCU Insurance Services (RCUIS). Zuno says his goal is to ensure continued growth, retain superior team members, and deliver exceptional levels of member service and satisfaction.
KayCee Murray has been promoted to chief technology officer at Numerica Credit Union. Murray has been an integral part of Numerica’s growth and innovation for the past 25 years. In her new role, she will continue overseeing IT, purchasing and facilities, business optimization and projects.
Lindsey Skinfill has been promoted to chief people officer at Numerica Credit Union. Skinfill has played a vital role in shaping Numerica’s workplace culture, talent development, and employee experience. In her new role, she will continue her mission of fostering an engaged, high-performing team while ensuring that Numerica’s people strategies align with business initiatives.
Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) announced that Michelle Harvey will now serve as Branch Manager at the Oakland Ave. location. Harvey has 31 years of experience in the banking industry and has been with LLCU for 25 years, serving in the following positions: Teller, Teller Supervisor, Mound Rd. Branch Manager, Decatur Operations Manager, and Mortgage & Commercial Loan Processing Manager.
Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) announced that Lynda Mitchell has been promoted to the position of Vice President Indirect Lending. Mitchell will direct and lead all aspects of the Indirect Lending Department. Her role encompasses the oversight of dealer relationships, regulatory compliance, loan growth, and portfolio management for all Indirect Dealer partners throughout all 28 central Illinois counties in the LLCU service areas. Additionally, she will lead the LLCU Indirect Lending support staff.
Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) announced that Heidi Schlabach has been promoted to Assistant Vice President of Consumer Lending. Schlabach will work alongside VP of Consumer Lending, Rashanda Bond Partee, and the rest of LLCU Consumer Loan officers. Her duties will be assisting to oversee loan process, reviewing companywide loan goals, and helping to ensure our loan processes are running efficiently.
