Telhio Credit Union employees welcomed visitors to the 2025 Ohio State Fair while coordinating a substantial donation of 7,000 items to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio (RMHC).
Throughout July, Telhio Credit Union branches encouraged members and local community members to donate wish list items to RMHC in exchange for buy one, get one free ticket vouchers to the Ohio State Fair. Items included canned food, disposable dinnerware, paper goods, and condiments, all of which are frequently used at RMHC to support thousands of families year-round.
This promotion, combined with items collected at the gate during Telhio’s Day at the Fair on August 1, resulted in the accumulation of more than 7,000 donations for families residing at the Ronald McDonald House in Columbus.
“This longstanding commitment to the Ronald McDonald House is deeply meaningful to us,” said Nick Biratsis, Vice President of Marketing at Telhio. “Spending the day at the fair connecting with the community, while also furthering the mission of RMHC, is an experience we look forward to every year.”

Additionally, as part of their participation in the Ohio State Fair, Telhio participated in the Celebrity Steer Show on July 30, raising $56,000 in financial support for RMHC, earning them the Grand Champion title.
