Telhio Credit Union’s philanthropic partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio (RMHC) continues for the seventh consecutive year at the Ohio State Fair. In a joint initiative to engage with the community while raising awareness for families and children, they will participate in a special day at the fair on Friday, August 1.
Telhio and RMHC Day at the Fair is an exciting and intentional way to support the House’s mission to be a home-away-from-home for families with seriously ill children receiving treatment at Columbus area hospitals. It’s also an opportunity for both organizations to engage with members of the community from across the state.
Fairgoers are eligible for free admission vouchers by donating items to RMHC from the designated wish list below. Donations are accepted at any Telhio branch from July 7-22, prior to the fair’s opening day on July 23. Vouchers are good for any day of the 2025 fair. (Limit one ticket per wish list item. Max of four tickets per household. Children under five are free).
Qualifying items include new packages of:
∙ Canned chicken, tuna, or vegetables
∙ Disposable plates or silverware
∙ Paper towels
∙ Condiments (mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, ranch dressing)
Individuals may also bring one of the above items to the Cardinal Gate during Telhio’s Day at the Fair on August 1 before 6 p.m. to receive a Buy One Get One Free (BOGO) admission to the fair that day.
