Telhio Credit Union in partnership with the Ohio Treasurer’s Office is continuing its commitment to supporting Ohio’s small businesses with the Buckeye Business Advantage. Aimed at helping grow Ohio-based businesses, current and aspiring entrepreneurs can apply for reduced interest rates on business loans through Telhio.
Buckeye Business Advantage is an expansion of Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague’s vision to bolster economic activity. With the state’s labor force participation rate at its highest since 2015, participating financial institutions can help businesses scale their operations through this program. Positive trends are expected in the workforce as new and existing businesses grow to brick-and-mortars and increase their employment capacity.
Following the same model used for existing programs like Ohio Homebuyer Plus, Buckeye Business Advantage will allow for reduced interest rates on loans to accountholders who deposit money at a participating bank or credit union.
“This is another excellent program for Telhio to implement, and a significant opportunity for our local business community,” said Nick Biratsis, VP of Marketing at Telhio Credit Union. “As the number one SBA lender among Ohio credit unions, this initiative underscores our vision to support our neighbors in their financial dreams of operating a business.”
Telhio Credit Union remains committed to providing exceptional financial services and support to small businesses, reinforcing its role as a key partner in fostering economic development and community growth.
