Texas Trust Credit Union earned national recognition for its community service project supporting Mission Arlington from the Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC).

During the annual MAC conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, professionals from hundreds of credit unions from around the U.S. gathered to recognize the industry’s top marketing projects.

Texas Trust received top honors for its corporate-wide community engagement initiative. The service project involved more than 300 employees who worked together to provide tangible support to the community service organization Mission Arlington by assisting with repairs and maintenance, custodial tasks, and the cleaning and sanitizing of donated personal medical equipment such as walkers and wheelchairs and other goods provided free of charge to those in need.

“Being a good steward in the community is part of our culture,” said Toni Nichols, AVP Public Relations for Texas Trust Credit Union. “We are honored to be recognized among our peers for doing what credit unions are known for – people helping people.”

For more than 30 years, the MAC awards have honored and awarded credit union marketers for their contributions for making a difference in their communities.
