Three Credit Unions Announce New Hires; Chartway Credit Union Announces Two New Associate Board Appointments

Three credit unions, including People’s Credit Union and Everwise Credit Union, announced new additions to their teams, and Chartway Credit Union announced the addition of two new associate members to its board of directors.

New Hires:

  • People’s Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Shana Silveira as Head of Branch in Wakefield. Reporting to Deborah Maxwell, Head of Area Branches, Ms. Silveira will be responsible for the successful operation and daily oversight of the branch. In this position, she will drive the development of new business and member relationships while ensuring the delivery of a service-focused branch experience by leading the performance of the branch team through effective coaching, guidance, and training. 
  • Everwise Credit Union has named Kyle Pierce as VP, Information Security, adding extensive leadership depth to its technology and risk strategy framework. In this role, Pierce will oversee Everwise’s information security operations and risk teams, shape strategic priorities around information security governance, and partner directly with business leaders to ensure safe, seamless, and informed technology adoption.
  • On Tap Credit Union® announced a significant expansion of its leadership team with the addition of a Senior Vice President of Lending and a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). These strategic hires reinforce the credit union’s commitment to long-term growth, member impact, and operational excellence.
    • The credit union welcomed Dan Tabraham as the SVP of Lending earlier this year. Dan brings extensive experience in lending, credit risk management, and financial services leadership. As the SVP of Lending, he will oversee consumer and mortgage lending operations, loan portfolio growth, underwriting strategy, and risk management. This leadership role ensures On Tap remains well-positioned to deliver competitive lending products, great rates, and personalized solutions that empower members at every financial stage.
    • On Tap Credit Union has also appointed Michael Gampp as Chief Financial Officer. Michael brings an impressive breadth of experience in strategic finance, risk management, and credit union leadership. In his role, Michael will oversee the organization’s financial strategy, asset-liability management, budgeting processes, and long-term fiscal planning. His expertise ensures that On Tap Credit Union maintains strong financial stability and remains poised for continued growth as the credit union expands its services and community impact.
  • BankSocial announced the appointment of Jack Antonini as President, marking a significant milestone as the company scales its unified financial infrastructure for banks, credit unions, and modern financial institutions.

Recognitions:

  • TBA Credit Union’s (TBACU) Project Manager, Christie Dompierre, PMP has proudly earned the Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI), a globally recognized credential that distinguishes her as a leader in the field of project management.

Promotions:

  • Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) announced that Rebecca Merkley has been promoted to the role of Branch Manager of the Effingham North branch (1302 N. Thelma Keller Ave.). Merkley will oversee the sales and operations of the Effingham North branch, as well as serving members as Loan Officer. Merkley has been with LLCU for nearly two years and during that time has been a successful Loan Officer at LLCU’s Vandalia, IL branch.
  • Member Access Processing (MAP) is proud to announce the promotion of Chief Implementation Officer Tim Bornemeier to Chief Operating Officer (COO).
  • Royal Credit Union (Royal) is proud to announce the appointment of two new Business Banking Regional Managers. In these leadership roles, they will guide regional teams of Business Banking Officers while continuing to manage their own portfolios of business relationships. These new positions will support Royal’s growth by providing mentorship to team members, enhancing Member experiences, and promoting collaboration across departments to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.  
    • Carrie McNamara is the Business Banking Regional Manager based in the New Richmond office, supporting the Chippewa Valley and Extended regions as well as the OsceolaRice LakeSomerset, and St. Croix Falls offices. McNamara joined Royal in 2020 as Business Banking Officer and has been a strong contributor to the team’s success. She serves on the board of directors for the St. Croix Economic Development Corporation, St. Croix Habitat for Humanity, New Richmond Community Foundation, and ReNew Richmond. She is also an active member of the New Richmond, River Falls, and Somerset Chambers of Commerce.  
    • Tim Sass is the Business Banking Regional Manager based in the White Bear Lake office, supporting the Metro region and the Hudson and River Falls offices. Sass joined- Royal in 2018 as Branch Manager before transitioning to the business banking team in 2021. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Capella University, an associate’s degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and is a graduate of the National Credit Union Foundation’s Credit Union Development Education (CUDE) program. Sass serves on the board of directors for New Richmond Tourism, Nordic Networkers, and Falls Chamber of Commerce. He is also on the St. Croix County Sheriff Mounted Posse Search and Rescue Team. 
  • People’s Credit Union has announced the promotion of Danielle Mello to Head of the Bristol Branch, reporting to Deborah Maxwell, Head of Area Branches. Mello will oversee daily operations of the branch while leading the new business development and loan origination initiatives of her team through purposeful leadership and mentorship.

Appointments:

  • Chartway is pleased to announce that it recently welcomed two new associate members to our board of directors. Jerry Frostick and Danny Mangum were appointed during the October board meeting.
    • Jerry Frostick, co-owner of J&A Racing and vice chair of Chartway Promise Foundation board of directors, and will now also serve the credit union as an associate board member. Due to his long-time support of the foundation and J&A’s partnership through credit union-sponsored races, Jerry brings a wealth of history, relationships, and community focus to the board. He lives in Hampton Roads, Va., where he and his wife Amy have long been champions of community wellness and healthy living. He has been on the Foundation board since April 2019. 
    • Danny Mangum, president and chief operating officer of Mountain West Small Business Finance (MWSBF) in Salt Lake City, Utah, is also joining Chartway as an associate board member. Danny is deeply engaged in community and industry leadership. He currently serves as at-large director for the National Association of Development Companies (NADCO) and is on the board of directors for the Utah Small Business Loan Fund. He is also a member of the Business Engagement Committee of the Utah Black Chamber, a role he has held since 2019. He has a master’s degree in organizational behavior from Utah State University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Utah.
