Seasoned Financial Executive Bringing More Than 20 Years of Industry Expertise
Wheelhouse Credit Union (Wheelhouse) has appointed Jesse Avery as its Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Mr. Avery will oversee all aspects of the Credit Union’s financial strategy and operations, including long-term planning, budgeting, and financial performance optimization. He will report directly to Wheelhouse President/CEO Lisa Paul-Hill.

Mr. Avery brings more than two decades of financial leadership experience to Wheelhouse, most recently serving as Vice President of Finance at San Diego County Credit Union. Prior to that, he held senior financial positions at Silvergate Bank, including Director of Treasury, and he began his career at Wells Fargo Bank.
A San Diego native, Mr. Avery earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from San Diego State University. In his new capacity with Wheelhouse Credit Union, he will play a key role in supporting the Credit Union’s continued growth and mission to positively impact the lives of their Members, Community, and planet.
