HFS Federal Credit Union is honored to announce that it has been named the Best-in-State Credit Union in Hawai’i by Forbes for 2025. This prestigious recognition marks the seventh time in eight years that HFS Federal Credit Union has earned a place on the respected Forbes list.

Abe, President/Chief Executive Officer of HFS Federal Credit Union. “This achievement is a reflection of our members’ loyalty and our team’s unwavering commitment to serving our community with integrity and excellence.” 

The Forbes ranking is developed in partnership with market research firm Statista through an extensive survey of approximately 26,000 U.S. residents. Survey participants were asked to rank their financial institutions across several key areas, including trust, member service, digital tools, quality of financial advice, and whether fees were transparent and reasonable. Publicly available reviews were also incorporated into the rankings, accounting for 20% of each institution’s overall score.
