Partnership will power financial education and lasting community impact
Rize Credit Union (Rize) has joined the Los Angeles Chargers as the team’s official credit union – a high-energy, high-impact collaboration that unites two purpose-driven organizations committed to bettering lives on and off the field. Together, Rize and the Chargers will bring financial wellness programs to local communities and expand outreach efforts across Los Angeles, to support youth, families and future changemakers.
“This partnership is electric,” said Jennifer Oliver, president and CEO of Rize Credit Union. “We’re teaming up with the Chargers to bring more than just excitement to the field – we’re creating real opportunities. From students dreaming big to members looking to grow their financial confidence, this is about showing up, giving back and making a lasting difference.”
This partnership will allow Rize to continue to fulfill its commitment to supporting and uplifting communities through financial empowerment. As the official credit union of the Los Angeles Chargers, Rize will:
- Fuel financial education for students through Bolt Academy, a collaborative program with the Los Angeles Chargers Impact Fund, Inglewood Unified School District and Brotherhood Crusade that helps high school juniors and seniors get career-ready
- Deliver financial education in partnership with the Chargers through community-based initiatives that equip people with trusted tools, resources and guidance
- Offer exclusive perks and promotions for Rize members, including sweepstakes, player appearances and merch giveaways
This partnership builds on Rize’s deep-rooted investment in Los Angeles, including partnerships with the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles, the Youth Access Banking program with Los Angeles County, and direct donations of Comfort Cases and Barely Canadian hoodies to youth in foster care.
“Together, we’re going to change lives – truly help all realize their potential,” said Oliver. “Whether they’re in the stands or not, we want people to feel seen, supported and ready to Rize.”
