evolve FCU hosted its third Social Purpose event of 2025. On Saturday, August 23rd evolve FCU held, Weekend at the Movies, at the Allen Theater in Las Cruces NM. This was the second event that evolve FCU hosted for Jardin De Los Ninos, its newest Social Purpose partner. The event was a private movie screening for the children’s organization where the children and families, including staff from Jardin De Los Ninos, got to enjoy, The Fantastic Four. The screening included soft drinks, popcorn and a candy of choice per person.
Many of the children and families that were there had never been to a movie theater due to the financial hardships and other challenges that these families currently face. These are some of the reasons why evolve FCU creates experiences like these, as it provides an escape for the children from the community and allows them to be kids again without the worries of uncertain circumstances or dire situations.
