Members First Credit Union (M1) team members rolled up their sleeves and spread out across eight Michigan counties for a day dedicated to community impact. Fueled by the credit union’s vision of creating thriving communities, 231 M1 team members volunteered with 22 different organizations bringing energy and positivity to every project.
From deep-cleaning community centers and tidying local parks to sorting and packing food and delivering meals to seniors, Members First Credit Union volunteers brought energy, focus, and a sense of purpose to communities across Bay, Clare, Gladwin, Isabella, Kent, Midland, Osceola, and Saginaw counties. Their efforts made a tangible impact in each area, supporting local organizations and communities throughout Michigan.
“These projects truly demonstrate the power of teamwork,” said Chelsea McKenzie, Community Impact Specialist. “When dedicated, passionate, and fun people come together, we not only make a meaningful impact but also advance our mission of fostering a better tomorrow and our vision of thriving communities.”
Each project supported one of the three pillars of M1’s impact program: Housing, Education, and Wellness. Whether it was lending a hand to a local nonprofit, improving shared spaces, or helping neighbors in need, the day embodied what it means to be part of the M1 community.
M1 remains committed to encouraging a better tomorrow for Michigan communities—one act of service at a time.
