Addition Financial Credit Union is proud to announce the expansion of its partnership with Leon County Schools, building on the strong foundation established through its recent merger with Envision Credit Union.

Leon County Schools will join Addition Financial’s popular School District Debit Card Program with the launch of a co-branded Leon County Schools debit card in early 2026. Through this program, Addition Financial will donate three cents to the Foundation for Leon County Schools for every transaction made with the card, providing a direct benefit to schools across the district.

With Leon County Schools’ participation, the district becomes the fourth to join the program since its launch in 2009. Addition Financial currently partners with Orange, Seminole, Volusia, and Osceola County Public Schools through the initiative, which has returned more than $850,000 dollars to local schools over the past decade.

In addition to the debit card program, Addition Financial is planning to open a future student-run high school branch at a Leon County high school campus. This branch will give students hands-on experience in personal finance and credit union operations while serving as a valuable resource for their peers.

“We are grateful to continue and grow this important partnership through Addition Financial,” said Rocky Hanna, Superintendent of Leon County Schools. “The debit card program and future student-run branch will directly benefit our schools and students, providing both resources and educational opportunities that will have a lasting impact.”

Kevin Miller, President and CEO of Addition Financial Credit Union added, “We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Leon County Schools and bring our School District Debit Card Program to Tallahassee.  At Addition Financial, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve, and this program allows us to support local schools in a meaningful way while also being a financial partner our members can rely on.”

These new initiatives build on a longstanding partnership that began with Envision Credit Union, which includes financial education, sponsorship opportunities, and volunteer support from credit union employees. Addition Financial will also continue supporting Leon County Schools through its pantry program in partnership with Second Harvest of the Big Bend, ensuring students and families have access to essential resources.
