TBA Credit Union (TBACU) proudly celebrates a significant milestone: 70 years of dedicated service to its members and the community. In honor of this anniversary, TBACU expanded its annual Pay It Forward celebration by donating a total of $70,000 during the month of November. The Pay It Forward celebration has been a tradition at TBA Credit Union since 2015. The purpose is to provide random acts of kindness throughout the community during our anniversary month.
As part of this year’s initiative, TBACU invited local non-profits to apply for the grant by sharing their stories and explaining how their missions align with TBACU’s values. The TBACU Executive Team then selected seven exceptional non-profit organizations to receive a $10,000 contribution each, further amplifying the impact and reach of the Pay It Forward tradition.
Recipients Include
- Michael’s Place
- Junior Achievement
- Big Brothers Big Sisters
- Father Fred Foundation
- Grand Traverse Industries
- Women’s Resource Center
- Grand Traverse Dyslexia Association
“Reaching our 70th anniversary is more than a milestone; it’s a reminder of the trust and support we’ve received from our members and community,” said Karen Browne, TBACU President & CEO. “This year’s special Pay-It-Forward initiative allowed us to share that gratitude in an even bigger way. Our annual celebration is about honoring that trust by giving back meaningfully and strengthening the connections that make our community thrive.”
