The Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC) proudly welcomes Texas Dow Employees Credit Union (TDECU) as its newest member.
TDECU is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative founded in 1955 to serve Dow employees in Lake Jackson, Texas. Today, it has grown into one of the largest credit unions in the state, serving nearly 380,000 members with more than $4.8 billion in assets and a full suite of consumer financial services. With over 35 locations across Texas, TDECU remains committed to its founding philosophy of “people helping people,” delivering responsible, community-focused financial solutions guided by its core values of respect, excellence, accountability, and leadership.
