The University of Toledo Federal Credit Union, (UTFCU) is proud to announce the upcoming opening of a new branch location this spring at 4280 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, Ohio 43614.
The expansion underscores the credit union’s continued commitment to serving its growing membership and strengthening its presence in the Toledo community.
“Our mission has always been to serve our members with personalized financial solutions and trusted guidance. Opening this new branch allows us to expand our reach, better serve our current members, and welcome future members who are part of the University of Toledo community,” said Greg Cook, President & CEO, UTFCU.
Founded on March 24, 1964, as T.U.T. Federal Credit Union, the organization was established by thirteen founding members to serve employees of the University of Toledo. In October 1976, the credit union was officially renamed University of Toledo Federal Credit Union and expanded its services to include employees of the Medical College of Ohio (now The University of Toledo Medical Center).
From modest beginnings, UTFCU has grown from its original 13 members to more than 5,200 members nationwide over the past six decades. Today, the credit union offers a full spectrum of financial products and services. As a closed-membership institution, UTFCU membership is available to University of Toledo faculty, staff, students, physicians, Alumni Association members, and their immediate families.
“As we continue to grow, our focus remains on strengthening relationships with our members and ensuring they have convenient access to the services and financial guidance they need. This new location will help us continue that mission while positioning the credit union for the future” concluded Greg Cook, President & CEO, UTFCU
Additional details regarding the new branch opening and grand opening events will be announced later this spring.
